Mr. Gale is the current President of the Milwaukee Community Sailing Center and serves on the Board of Managers of the downtown YMCA. He was a committee member of the fundraising advisory board for the Milwaukee Women's Center and Chairman of the Board of Housing with Help and co-founder of the merger of Housing With Help, South Community Origination (SCO) and Southeastern Affordable Housing now known as Tri-Corp, Milwaukee 's largest low income and special needs housing provider.
Mr. Gale has been a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary parish in West Allis for 30 years and served as Festival co-chair, school board president, parish council member, and on a host of other committees. He is a past President of the East Town Association where he co-founded Jazz in the Park and was involved in it for eleven years. As East Town Association President, he has been intimately involved in the running of Bastille Days for five years and served on a committee for the Blue Jazz BBQ festival for two years.
Tom Gale has been involved in Community Theater for seventeen years, appearing in twenty-six plays including nearly a dozen musicals. Mr. Gale was a founding member and first President of the Modjeska Children's Theater Company. Mr. Gale is also a 32nd degree Mason and member of the Scottish Rite. He is an avid year-round runner and Lake Michigan sailor.
