The Lamb and Lion Inn, winner of numerous awards and outstanding reviews, is located on historic Olde King;s Highway, known as Rte 6A in West Barnstable. Sited on 3.25 acres there are hundreds of acres of walking and hiking trails across the street. Sandy Neck Beach is only three miles away and Barnstable Village is right down the street. The original Cape was built in 1740, additions were added in the 1800s. The Inn was created in the 1970's and guest rooms were added. The Inn offers ten rent able en-suites, six of these suites have kitchenettes. One of these suites is a converted barn which can sleep six, abutting this room is another en-suite that sleeps four, in total this Inn can accommodate twenty-six guests. Some suites offer private decks and outdoor spaces to relax. There are seven wood burning fireplaces, five gas fireplaces, a guest gathering room for breakfast and kitchen space. A detached wellness building has two private massage rooms and a yoga/exercise studio. After visiting the beach enjoy the saltwater solar heated pool and a six person Hot Springs tub and a outdoor fireplace. The property also offers a two car garage, full basement, three furnaces and air conditioning.
