Both Pay Stations are new , as are the computers, the card swipes are crypto pay. There is a 3% processing rate on both facilities , which is very low. The support service is amazing. Everything is digital and accessible in real time to them in Denver, Colo. The response time is within minutes.
Cash - Carwash will generate $1200-1300.00 + per week, Truck wash around $400.00 per month
Washdown - is billed back to both companies at premium prices- creating deductions and pure profit at the same time. The Truckwash is an Agricultural business, so soap and parts purchased through this side of the business saves taxes and overall costs for the car wash also.
Dumping - Truckwash and Carwash refuse has no KDHE restriction, we give it to the feed lot to use as fertilizer.
Fleet cards - Both facilities have a multitude of business memberships. Fleet card accounts and customers enjoy this service at a discounted price. We are currently working on a community fleet card to build a more natural vehicle maintenance type of attitude toward car washing. Just swipe, wash, and go, membership lets you forget you are spending. This will be set up on ACH, prepaid monthly so we will not wait on funds.
I have a manager and with his knowledge, plus living within minutes of the wash, I would recommend keeping him on the payroll as his experience is vast. I also, will always be available to assist him - free of charge. He usually does not need much assistance and is there, or available, until 10p - every day of the week. I have seen him work well into the night to make a repair and/or upgrade. He is a family member and very good with both facilities.
The Truck wash was on a 10yr note - it paid itself off in 5 yrs.
I did not plan to sell the washes, actually planned to have them as retirement income but a serious back injury from a roofing accident no longer allows me to take care of day to day operations that I once handled. It is a full time job taking care of myself, our home and acreage , plus my roofing/siding/gutter/window businesses.
